Day 7, Sept 25, Wed

I am really liking the Boardwalk area. The Dolphin is in a great spot and the convenience cannot be beat.

Today we returned to MGM. This is the one park where we never spent alot of time before so we have some catching up to do!

We saw Beauty and the Beast. This show was another winner. The pre-show was good too...We came in late in their performance and I cannot recall the name of the group, but I hope I get to see them again next time.

We also stopped into Millionaire. We were both a little skeptical about this one, but we loved it! I was in the top 10 twice!

I also decided to prove how tough I am again and ventured onto the TOT one more time. I really enjoyed it this time. The detailing is amazing. I could not bring myself to try RNR again. Maybe next trip.

We stopped at Starring Rolls for snacks. The napoleon was to die for. Then we headed over to stake out a parade viewing spot. We found a bench along the parade route and shared it with a nice family from England.

We made it back to the Dolphin just before another storm hit. All the tropical storms are still around, but they are staying away from us, thank goodness.

Tonight we have a 7:10 PS at O'Hana's. We decide to head over early and got in at 6:00. The meal was fantastic! I loved everything I tried. DH did not eat much, but he liked it. Our server kept trying to push more food on him. Neither of us are huge eaters, but we really enjoy buffets for some reason. Oh well.

Since we got out of there so early (again, no people!) we decide to take the monorail to Epcot and see Illuminatons again. We also caught the TOD parade! Another great show. We walked back to the Dolphin - under another beautiful moon.

The boardwalk is so nice.

I love this place!

do they serve at O hanas......I am up to trying anything.....we have done the luau 9 times and would like to try something different from that resort........thanks again for your report......

It's all you can eat for $23.99.

They start you out with a big round spinning tray that holds dishes of BBQ wings, salad, shrimp wontons, veggies, and rice. You also get a big platter of homemade bread. You serve yourself from this tray family-style and they will bring out more if you want it.

It was all yummy.

I am thinking, this is great, then they start bringing out long skewers with big chunks of grilled meat. You get turkey, beef, pork, and shrimp. You can have all you want, whichever kind you want.

It is all marinated and seasoned. You also have an assortment of dipping sauces.

For dessert you can have pineapple chunks with a caramel dipping sauce (included in the meal price) or for extra money they have other desserts (can't remember what).

Oh, I am getting so hungry!

O'Hana is our 2nd favorite restaurant, after Boma!

I completely agree with you about the convenience of the Boardwalk are. We stayed at the YC (our first stay in the Epcot/MGM/Boardwalk area) the first week of December. We are now hooked! The convenience to both Epcot and MGM is incredible, and we find we spend most of our time at those 2 parks.

WWTBAM can be a lot of fun. I've never made it into the top 10, though. I'm envious.

I love the location of the Dolphin, it's truly my favorite place to stay. It's just in the heart of the action.

The food at Ohana is awesome.

I enjoyed reading about your day, thanks for posting.
