My DH, DD and I are going to Disney with the free dining plan. We already have our passes through our airmiles program, so we just got a one day base ticket each in order to get the dining plan. Our 7 day passes are not hoppers-we will have to upgrade. My question is can my husband use the three base tickets himself so that we won't have to upgrade his ticket, or will the tickets be assigned to us specifically?

From what I've read, you can only use one ticket per person, not three for your husband. Maybe someone else can confirm this?

Also, if you just upgrade for 2 people to park-hopping, even if your husband used the 3 one day tickets, he couldn't park hop with you.

He has his own 7 day ticket, but I though instead of upgrading it, he could use the 3 one day tickets to get into a 2nd park in the afternoon. (We figure we will only be hopping 3 out of the 6 days).

A terrible terrible waste of money.

It is also wasteful to use any of the 1 day tickets as-is during any 5 to 10 day vacation.

A one day basic ticket, however obtained, is worth about $65. when used on a 1, 2, or 3 day Disney vacation. Adding hopping to the 7 day ticket costs $37.

It is my belief that any unused ticket can be used by anybody of the proper age, and in the case of a 1 day basic ticket, it is worth the risk to use one with somebody else's name on it.

:crazy2: That is so true. I wasn't thinking of the value of each ticket. It really doesn't make sense to spend almost $200 to save $37. (unless we were planning on never going back).

Thank you!
