Just got back last week - weather was the WORST!!
BUT didn't let that stop us from eating
Another thumbs up for BEACHES AND CREAM and KONA CAFE!!
First time to both restaurants........
Beaches and Cream - DD and I had the burgers and younger DD had a salad. Best burger I have had at WDW. Portions are very large - we ate around 2:30pm and never ate dinner. Really enjoyed it and will return. Don't know why I never went there before.
Kona Cafe - First time there and was impressed with the service and food. I had fish, one DD had prime rib and the other had asian stir fry. All tasty YUMMY!! Not as expensive as some of the other full service sit down restaurants. Will definitely make a return trip.
On the downside - we did not like the new noodles station in Tomorrowland. We each tried something different and thumbs down to all three meals. Tasted like overcooked mush!!
. Plus the CM's didn't know the menu so the cooks had to explain to them what the difference was between stir fry and lo mein. Won't be returning
As always my all time favorite food is Dole Whip!!!! YUMMY!!
