Another switching question- re-food

Hi, When you switch resorts I know Disney will move your luggage for you but what about food from the fridge? Has anyone had their food transfered and how do they keep it cold if your room is unavailable. Thanks

well the dvc resorts have refrigerator and freezer in the luggage area. So no problems - just remember you have to pack your food your self.

if you expect them to move it - definitely be in the room when they come to get it.

don't know about the other resorts but they have to have something - to be on the safe side - you can bring a collapse food container - and put your food plus ice in it.

They bring up these plastic ciontainers that you put the food into and then they store it in a fridge for you.
We've never had a problem.
