O.K. I am just looking for opinions on my situation...My family and I, (me, DH, DD19 and DS15) are flying from Raleigh-Durham to Fort Lauderdale on SW in July. I would like for us to sit together as in 2 rows across from each other or in front or behind each other. I would really prefer a window seat, but could live with out it. What do you think would be the odds of that working if I don't purchase EBCI? I will be able to check in 24 hours ahead and we don't mind sitting near the back of the plane. I do want to add that my son has Type 1 diabetes and generally doesn't have problems with it, but I would certainly want him with either me or DH.

They should be pretty good. Anything A & B should work. But if you really want to be sure then buy EBCI. Raleigh, I believe is a Southwest hub so the flight you take may be coming in from somewhere else and already be half full when you get on.

Remember you will need to check in each person separately at the 24 hr mark. So it may take you a bit to check in everyone.

just remember that the plane can be half full when A group starts boarding. for the best chance of sitting together without EBCI look for an early morning flight so the plane overnights at your airport. I would buy the EBCI for your trip home so you do not have to worry about 24 hour check in while at the parks

Thanks all! I didn't think about people already being on the plane. Our flight from RDU leaves at 10:45am and we fly out of FLL at 7:45pm. We are vacationing in the Keys, so we won't have to worry about being in the park.
