Hi everyone..
Hopefully someone can help me..or direct me to the thread where this was answered (these boards are massive!!)
I am heading to WDW with my hubby and 2 children (ages 5 and 2)..I know I definately want to double stroller to use..but wondering if anyone know which kind has the features Im looking for...
My 2 main concerns are that:
1. they are comfortable enough that my children would be able to nap if they wanted to and
2 that I wont kill myself trying to lug them around on the Disney transportation system (folds easily and not bulky)

Thank you sooo much in advance..for some reason Im perseverating on this now..first ADRs now stroller rental..ha ha..probably wont end till we get there in April! My husband thinks Im nuts!

The big thing is weight limit. With a 5 year old you will be limited to larger strollers. We have a double jogger with a front swivel wheel. I would really recommend that. Also there are rental companies that are cheaper than Disney.

Thank you so much..will definately look them up and hopefully some others once Ive finished my research...I definately want one that is easy to take on the bus..probably difficult to find but Ive been thinking that getting one for our whole trip is a heck of a lot easier than renting at each park and trying to carry tired kids back to the resort at days end!
Thank you again!

I was look on craigslist to buy a used one before we decided to rent form magic strollers.

I was looking at: Maclaren Twin Techo or Traveller (the triumph seat looked short)
Combi Twin Savyy
Peg Perego Aria Twin

These are all lightweight, hold higher weight limits, fold relatively small, can good recline so kids can sleep.

I've got the jeep double umbrella and it couldn't be easier to fold and folds down very small. I think it's got weight limits but my 5yo who is 50 lbs rides in it sometimes with no prob.

I have a double jogger that is of course easier to push but would never consider taking it through the airport or on the Dis buses. The Sit and Stand looks awful for fold up too...way too bulky.

We used to bring our double stroller - flying and driving. First time I switched to a single was when they were 4 and 6 (continued to bring it till they were 7 and 9) and they mostly had to share. A couple of times they both fit, one in front of another, as it was a super sturdy and lightweight full size Aprica.

The double I had was a Peg Perego - something or other Twin - and although it was heavy and a bit of a pain to fold for a bus, I would still recommend it. The reason is that really we'd only fold and unfold it a couple of times during the day, and the rest of the time I was so glad to have it! The size and comfort are worth it. They napped in it every day, and very well too.

I had a PP Aria Twin (from 2004, so it's probably better now) and liked it. It was a little hard to get started with heavy kids in it, but once you got going, it was easy to push & relatively easy to steer. Again, the weight of your kids will affect this in any stroller. My DS was a 95% child in height & weight, balanced by my 15% younger DD, so I'm sure that contributed to my issues

I thought it was pretty light & folded well, considering it was a double stroller. The trays for the kids were a nice bonus too. I kind of wish we'd kept it for this trip now -- my 5 year old is still going to want to ride a lot, I think, so we may end up buying another single to take with us ... darn hubby donating everything too quickly!
