Another SSR Building Question

I just booked a trip to SSR for September. I am curious which buildings will be open by then.

I did a search and read that the Springs buildings should open late March, early May and June. When will the Paddock buildings open?

Thanks!

I've heard (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) that the Paddocks are Phase 3 and won't be completed until 2007. Portions of the Springs will be ready by 3/31, that's when I close.

Actually, I believe the Paddock (or the majority of that section that was included in the very first map of SSR) is part of Phase II. I do not remember seeing any official dates for the opening of those buildings.

I've not seen anything with exact dates, but a number of sources (none of which I could name off the top of my head) have basically said it will be one per month starting in March. That does make sense because they started all of the Springs and Paddock buildings consecutively.

The Phase 3 buildings will be right past the guard shack and on the golf course fairway. AFAIK, they have not yet broken ground on these units, so it likely will be 2007 before they are open.

Nothing had been started on phase 3 as of last week when we were there. I thought I also heard from somewhere that the Paddock buildings would be opening late fall of this year.

Thanks for the replies. So it looks like probably just Congress Park and the Springs will be open in September (perhaps one or two of the Paddock as well?). I think I will just request high floor and see where I end up.

Thanks for the help!

Don't be surprised if phase III is quietly canceled for a new DVC. :rolleyes1

Do you have this on any good authority or is it just a guess?;) I mean, come on, you are nuts!;)

Wouldn't that be great. We wouldn't have to worry about SSR getting too big for itself, and we would have a new resort as well.

I wish they would do that!
