Another Spring Break Question....

Dd (5) and I took a wonderful trip to DL last year during the first week of May. The crowd level was perfect and the trip was absolutely magical.

Unfortunately, my job status is iffy next year (I do contract work for a local school district) and asking for time off to go to DL in May isn't in my best interest. So, I can still go to DL, but it will have to be during spring break......eek! The dates I'm looking at are 3/29-4/2. Will the crowd level be dreadful? Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs AM would be our park days.

I have a room on hold at the HOJO....one day entertainment rate and three days at discount rate. The Everyone pays kid price tickets will still be going. My sis works at Alaska Air and will give us one or two free tix.

I already have the money saved for the trip. It's not as much about the money as it is about creating another magical vacation.

Any thoughts on these dates?

We are subject to spring break days too, so we are braving it the week before you. From what I hear, the parks will be a bit buisy, but nothing like when the CA schools go on spring break in early April, or the weekend of Easter.

I've been told to get there early, use FP, and everything will be O.K. I mean, Disneyland, even when it's jamb packed, has got to be better than staying home and doing the dishes, right?

We too are going these exact dates! Looking at the Disneyland calendar, of the spring break weeks to go, this is the best. It will probably be busy and waits could be an hour at the popular rides, but if you do FP, go first thing in the AM, and stay to park close...with a break in the afternoon, you should be able to do everything you want. Be sure to check the events calendar, some things only play on certain days! Have fun, relax and remember we are all there to have fun and escape the real world for a bit! I hope to see you there!

Even if it's busy you'll still have fun. Just use the FP system, go early and stay late. You'll have fun! :)

Thanks, everyone.

I decided against going during spring break. We're going in early May. :) We stayed at the DL hotel last time. I just pulled up rates at the DL hotel and it is $300+ a night. I'm trying to stick to a budget, so will either book the paradise pier or bwppi. I wish you could buy tickets and get 2 MM days and stay off site.
