Very limited info at this point, except that it took place on the 4400 Block of Pond Street, N.E.

A man sitting in his car was shot at. He is still alive.

They do not know if it's related to the other shootings.

This is INSANE!!! :( I hope they catch these freak(s) ASAP

OMG, this is really getting scarier and scarier.

Just heard that on news radio here as well..

Now, would that be further away from the other things? Is it a possibility that this one and the middle school were different instances? (ie two drive-bys).

Drive by shootings are fairly common, unfortunately, in some parts of Philly...

OMG! This is horrible! Was shot at...does that mean they didn't hit him? This is so scary!! Please let us know when you hear anything else and stay safe!

They've just said that they do not think that it is related to the other shootings........but they initially said that about the woman who was shot down here in Virginia too.

Blondie, thanks for the updates, This is going to end soon...hopefully before another life is lost!!!I hope your children were in the best spirits that could be expected once you were together again.

N.E. is not the best part of D.C., drive by shootings do happen there fairly often.

Still, in light of everything, I wouldn't rule out that this is not the same guy. At this point, anytime someone gets shot, I'm going to feel more on edge. I just wish they would catch this guy, like NOW.

snowwhitesmom, a quadruple...you must be proud of yourself ;)

The most recent shooting was the victim of a robbery, and it IS NOT connected!

Trust me Honeywolf, i had no idea...Can I correct it by the way??

Very sad news :(

I took care of the multiple posts for you, snowwhitemom.
