is it usually hard to cash out for the gift cards? I went on right at 12:30 and tried to get toys r us but it said that the gift cards were claimed by someone else already... this is my first time trying to cash out so i was just wondering if its always like that. :sad2:

Yes, unfortunately it is always like that. Even with high speed/cable modem, it is almost impossible to cash out. That is the problem with rewardtv, points add up quickly but are very hard to use.

I gave up the other day after almost a year of trying and just spent a bazillion points in an auction for a $10 gas card. Total waste of time. I'm done with them.

I took a 6-month subscription to TV Guide about 8 months or so ago with some of my points. They are now offering "Giant" magazine, or something like that, that really does not appeal to me. I have not tried for the gift cards because of what I have heard here and because of timing. I rarely visit the site anymore because it seems to be a waste of time....

This is just my opinion.

I stopped doing RTV because I felt like a fool when I looked back at how much time I spent each day answering questions about shows and commercials only to get NOTHING in return.

I have cable internet. I've NEVER been able to get a gift card. I really thought I'd be able to get a $5 gift card maybe every 4 to 6 weeks. How stupid was I.

I was spending about 20 minutes per day answering questions about shows and ads. It was sometimes less depending on whether I watched TV that night.

What other rewards site would have people spend so much time each day helping them and give out NOTHING?

Heck, just clicking emails and doing a few surveys with My Points I was able to get a $10 web cert. What did I get with RTV? Nothing.
My Points 5 point email clicks took me 2 seconds and eventually accumulated into a web certificate.
RTV's points just accumulate.

I can't find any other reward site that requires members to do so much each day for so little.

I can't believe I spent so much time doing RTV and have nothing to show for it except wasted time.

That's just my opinion on the matter.
