OK…Here’s the scoop…We are all going to the World in February…using the “Buy Four, get Seven “..with the Dining Plan. My sister and her husband will be going…and my husband..me as well as our adult son, his wife, and the three kids. We are all on the Dining Plan. My sister and I both hold Annual Passes. There will be one time we will not be using a (sit down) credit and will be paying for it. Do you think it is worth purchasing the Disney Dining Experience Plan (we used to do it) for that one meal? (For 9 of us) Plus, my husband would be having beer every night at Pop Century. (It would cover that, too, wouldn’t it?) I’m pretty sure my sister and I will go again before the year is out.. Although...Lately, Disney has been offering deals to everybody...
and we didn't even use our Annual Passes...

You need to spend $300 to pay for the TiW/DDE card. Not sure where you're going or dinner, but if you think between the dinner and the beer you'll hit $300 then I'd go for it. Especially if you're going to be there multiple trips this year.

It will also cover alcohol and appetizers for your TS locations for the length of your stay.

We plan to go to the T-Rex restaurant if we are able to get reservations by the time we go. I'd need the Dining Experience card to get a discount off that restaurant, wouldn't I?

I think between my husband's beer and the dinner for nine people at the T-Rex would be over $300.00....The last time my husband came with me...we stayed at Pop Century...Some of the CM's honored the Dining Experience card for his beer at the bar in the evenings...and some didn't...If they will give him the discount off his beer each night...I think between the dinner at T-Rex and his beer for the week...It might be worth it...
