Another Question About Segway Tour

That's a great pic, Calgary Gary. And it raises a question for me. I see that there is a pouch in the front of the segway and I assume that's for us to put our stuff in. However, will they store your backpack for you at the learning centre why you do the tour? Or is that your responsibility? Could you easily wear it on your back and ride the segway? Thanks.

Now your asking me a tough question because that morning got off to a hectic start. As I was using a backpack and hat during most of the trip and do not have it with me, I think they stored it for me. I would not wear a backpack as balance is important during the ride. Remember to bring a camera as the CM guides will take a picture like ours during a scheduled break in the tour.

The reason I ask is because we are going to spend the rest of the day touring Epcot and don't want to go back to the room. So we will rent a locker if they don't offer storage but I would like to know ahead of time.

Yes, you can leave your backpacks or belongings in the training room and then pick them up when you are done. A few people in our group did this and didn't have any problems.

And this is a secure area? I don't imagine we would have much of value in our backpack anyway, just water bottles and notepads, but I still wouldn't want it to get stolen.

For those who asked if it's worth it - we liked it enough that I have been on the tour 3 times.

It is a locked area.
We put our wallets into the bag in front of the Segway and one time I had a small purse that actually fit in there.
They won't let you bring anything with you unless it fits in the bag.
