Another question about paying w/Disney rewards & charging room on same card

I have about 650 in Disney Rewards saved up (200 on a gc already have, other 450 not cashed out yet)

I'd like to put my upcoming trip on my Disney Visa when I book to get the points & 0 % interest, but I'd also like to pay part of the upcoming trip w/my rewards points I already have.

Any way to do this?? I have the 200 gift card with a # on the back I can give when I make the reservation...but do I have to have the gift card for the rest in hand before I make the reservation to use it??

I'm not 100% sure I'm know what you're asking, but I think so.

You can call and make your reservation and use the existing card with the $200 on it as your deposit.

The balance is due 45 days from arrival. If you want to use more of your accumulated points, you would have to transfer them to your existing card (easy with a phone call or online transaction) and then call and make a payment for the amount you want to use off your Rewards card. You can put the rest of the balance due on your Disney Visa for the 0% interest for 6 months.

You have to have the rewards dollars on the rewards card to use them, but it's very simple to transfer them. Just make sure you watch the expiration date on your Rewards card and make sure you use it all before it expires. Rewards dollars that are unused on expired cards are just gone.

OOOOOHHHHH!!! So, I can transfer my disney rewards dollars onto my card, kinda like a credit?? I can use the rewards I have banked and not cashed out, and transfer them to pay a balance??

Not onto your Disney VISA card, onto your Disney REWARDS card --- two separate items. Since you said you had $200 already, I thought you'd already ordered your Rewards card. You order a separate Rewards card from Chase and load it with your Rewards dollars. THEN, you can use that Rewards card to pay on your balance TO DISNEY, not to Chase.

The Rewards card has an expiration date - if you order now, it would be 12/2013. Once you have it in hand, you go online or call and have the Rewards dollars you've accumulated transferred to your Rewards card.

You can use the Rewards card to pay towards your vacation, or you can use the Rewards card at most places at WDW to pay for food, souvenirs, etc.
