Another POP vs CBR question

I know there have been a lot of questions about PoP vs CBR but I can’t seem to find the answer I need to make a decision.
We are booked for 4 nights at POP in early December before moving to WL. But I’m now wondering if CBR is worth the additional cost to save time switching skyliners at CBR, particularly to rope-drop at early entry. I have read the advice to get to transport 90mins before early entry for both resorts and that when changing at CBR you join the end of the queue. So won’t that mean staying at POP makes rope drop more difficult than staying at CBR?
I realise the resorts are very different and there are pros and cons to both, but for me the question is really whether the extra $400 to stay at CBR is worth it given the extra time I’m guessing it will take staying at POP.

I don't think there's anyone that LOVES getting off/on to get on the next skyliner line but if it's worth a $400 difference, totally your call. The lines usually move pretty good but it will tack a few min on over those that get on at the CBR station. I don't love CBR so I don't think it's worth $400 more than any of the skyliner line resorts but that's just my two cents. I would just depart 10-15 min earlier than you had planned to account for the extra time in line to switch. I'd rather save or spend that money on fun stuff. And if you find that the skyliner is having some catastrophic delay, you can always grab a ride share from CBR.

Thank you so much for your advice. Its great to hear that the switch and CBR is pretty smooth. And of course I can ride share too which would still be cheaper! And I’m happy with POP and I’m sure I can find additional ways to spend the money!!

Thanks everyone - so helpful to have this sounding board. (DH is useless!)

Pop/AoA to CBR is a really short Skyliner ride since the CBR is next to them. The CBR Skyliner station is basically a T. You get off from Pop and HS line is to the left and Epcot straight ahead. CBR is a huge resort so if you aren’t staying near the Skyliner it’s going to take time to get there.

You may save time in line (although in our 8 day stay earlier this year, never once did we have to join the back of the CBR line) but you will also need to add in time to get from your room at CBR to the Skyliner. CBR is a HUGE resort! I'd save the money and stay at Pop.
