Another Pirate Night Attire Question

Do kids to wear shorts to dinner on Pirate Night or is that frowned upon?

Pretty much anything goes on Pirate Night. My DSs wore skull t-shirts with pajama pants that I shredded the bottoms into strips and sandals. They also wore doorags, earrings and eyepatches. It was a blast!!!

My DSs have gotten pirate/skull tshirts from Bermuda and I was thinking of having them wear those, but figured it wouldnt look good with dress pants, LOL!

Young kids can wear shorts to dinner any time....of course, these are decent, dress type shorts.

No one gets too fussed up about what little ones wear. Make them comfortable.

Nah, I'm a stickler for abiding by the cruiseline's requests. Even when we sailed and the boys were 8 months & 3 years, they had little suit jackets for Tritons.

Well this was back in the olden days, before I had a digital camera...2000, LOL! Here is a picture of some pictures. Its not the greatest quality. We did make Christmas cards out of these pictures that year.

Notice the pacifier hanging out from inside Colton's jacket(not to mention the untucked shirt).

I was planning on my children (5 &2) wearing their glow in the dark pirate pajamas? Is this appropriate?

My kids had POTC t-shirts with black shorts from our vacation last year (we purchased ours in the gift ship at DisneyQuest; but they had them at MK), and I added bandannas, pirate mardi gras beads and plastic daggers. Here's a pic:
