So I received the 35% PIN which includes 11/13 - 11/19. We are currently booked for 11/11 - 11/20. My TA has advised that we can't use this PIN since our dates are blacked out. Can we not apply the code for the dates that are covered, and then pay full rate for the first 2 nights? Or does the PIN have to cover the full reservation period?

I would call Disney and check. I have heard that you can use it for the days covered in the promo only, and I have heard that they will use it to cover all the days of your stay. Definately call and double check though - that phone call could save you money!

Hi! As long as there is availibility at you resort & room level, you can apply the PIN to the covered dates. Then for the dates not covered, you can pay rack rates. You might need 2 seperate reservations.

Someone reported on the other PIN thread yesterday that he was able to apply the PIN to his whole stay.

Have you already booked thru the travel agent? If not I'd suggest just calling Disney. I called Monday to book the public code, 2 different resort reservagtions. Only took 15 mins. Called yesterday to apply my PIN, only took 12 mins, including the survey at the end.

I'd say have the travel agent give a try to apply it. They definately should do it for at least your covered dates. If they refuse, call yourself & cancel their booking if you can. Good luck! :)

EDIT to add: OK just reread your post. I'm pretty sure they won't let you start the discount early, just continue it at the end of your stay. So you do a rack rate for nights, then a new reservation at the PIN rate for the rest of your stay. Only draw back is if you are adding dining, you will need to buy at least a 1 day ticket for the 2nd reservation.

thanks for the advice.

i couldn't access the current reservation since it was in the TA's name, and she was insistent that it could not be included due to the timing and wasn't very helpful in discussing options like shifting our dates, etc. so i got fed up and ended up re-booking on my own with the PIN for slightly changed dates, and was able to upgrade to a mod for only $60 more than we were previously paying for our stay at POP. all in all, a great change! :)

Good for you!! :thumbsup2 Happy you were able to get the PIN applied. Hard to decide sometimes if you should save the money or upgrade the resort. :rotfl: I think you'll be happy you decided to stay at a moderate. Where did you book & what are your dates?
