I am busy organizing our dining reservations for our trip next year. You see my DS8 is a VERY picky eater and all he lives on when at Disney is burger, chicken strips and pasta(NOT mac and cheese), and some of the restaurants we want to eat at dont do any of the above eg Mama Melrose, Le Cellier & Tonys Town Square(according to the lastest menus), they used to but not any more. Do you think they would try and accomodate us or are they very strict on the menu? We could still go and chance it but im worried he will just be sat there hungry, then i would feel very :guilty:

My suggestions would be to:
1) Try to put a request on the ADR that says you want a hamburger, etc...
2) Actually stop by the restaurant earlier in the day and tell them what's going on.
3) If they've told you it's ok, confirm this at the podium when you arrive. The last thing you want is to find out from the waiter that there's nothing for the poor kid to eat.

Another idea: if a restaurant can't accomodate, maybe you can bring in a burger from a counter-service nearby for him. Order him an appetizer (even if he doesn't eat it) to keep the management happy, and let him eat the burger. Again, ask at the podium before you do this.
