another photopass question

Is there a way to buy the rights to just one picture without buying the entire CD? We were there two weeks ago. I begged DH to take more photopass pictures because I knew that I would want the CD. DH is pretty commando style too, and stopping for photopass pictures was not on his agenda. I was able to stop and get pictures of DDs with my camera.....but we only have about 15 to 20 photpass pictures. I did buy a picture of my favorite. However, I would love to make 4x6 prints of it to send out with Christmas cards. I checked at MGM that day and the CM told me that I couldn't buy 4x6 pictures from them. I will want about 30 to 40 copies. I would be happy to buy the rights to the picture if that is possible. I just can't see spending $100 (well $99.95) for the CD when there aren't that many pictures on it.
Is it possible to buy the rights of one picture?

I don't think you can buy the rights to a picture. But you can go to the website (photopass.com? its been a while, the address should be on your cards), and order whichever pictures you like. Its really cool actually, you cna zoom and crop to your hearts content. I even cropped out the kids on one, when they were making faces, and got a nice shot of just DH and myself.

No, they do not sell the rights to individual photos. They do, however, sell Christmas cards at the website.

Oh well, that is what I thought. I thought it was worth checking on, though. I wish it was possible, but I understand that it is not.

That would be great if I didn't have the cards bought already. I always buy my cards at the after Christmas sales. I usually get them 40% to 50% off after Thanksgiving. I always buy the cards that hold pictures on the cover and put a photo of our family or DDs in it. I would love to use the family picture taken by the photopass guy. I will, however, just use one of the ones I took of DDs instead.
