Another Pampered Chef party

I have a co-worker who is a rep. She kept trying to get me to have a party. But in all honesty I do not have all that many people who I could invite and its just not my thing. She has tried to get me to buy different things and again no interest. I do not like cooking all that much and having different gadgets won't help that. Eventually she got the idea that I wasn't interested and hasn't ask for a couple years.

Some PC items I use all the time:

batter bowl (2 different sizes)

powdered sugar shaker (DD11 uses this for her pancakes)

ice cream scoop (it is the best!!!)

Our neighborhood is innundated! I used to get at least 1 a week, until I just started refusing them all.

We had people in the neighborhood who tried to push them as social gatherings where you weren't a good friend if you didn't go. And of course, if you went, you had to buy something. I finally got kind of bitter. Why am I not friendly because I'm not going to buy overpriced merchandise so the host can get free stuff? The whole thing is just ick!

That being said, I did once get duped into a PC party. I got this pitcher that has a plunger in it that makes mixing up drink mixes very handy. I also got this mini spatula that I've used a lot.

I love the mini metal spatulas, the mini whisk, and the ice cream scoop. My only problem with the ice cream scoop is that it is supposed to be handwashed, but I always throw it in the dishwasher, so I am sure I am ruining it. Also, their pizza cutter is the best of any I have ever used. The bread knife is also very good- very sharp considering it is just to cut bread!
I like to get the "gadgets"- they usually aren't too expensive. Th quick-cut paring knife is only $1. I have also gotten the corn cob nobs, citrus peeler, corn cob butterer, and some other cheap things.
