My husband worked security at a university and a girl fell from the sixth floor window. Stories were she was sitting on the edge and acting stupid, but it turns out she was actually trying to look down to see if something was in her car and lost her balance. She survived, but was permanently disabled. What is sad is that if someone like that has been drinking, it's even sadder that they are wandering around the decks alone instead of with the family or friends they came with. They could even just fall on the ship and get a head injury, etc.
The worst drunken behavior we've witnessed was the story I told on another thread about the two women in St. Thomas who kept the ship waiting an hour and came staggering back arm in arm and thought the whole thing was funny.
Oh my re the girl that fell from the sixth floor window how frightful. Yes it is sad they were alone I agree.
That is awful the drunken women in St Thomas. We are always paranoid about gettimg back on time so we never venture far! I am disabled anyway so I allow more time. How do people let time get away with them! There is aleays a couple on every cruise! One year I am embrassed to say it was my parents. They got lost and my Mum was in tears. I told them to take an official cab in the port but they choose a cheap unoffical taxi....dumped them miles from the ship.
