Another MVMCP Question

We will be at Disney 12/4 - 12/13. We are staying at All Star Movies our first night and not doing any parks. We will probably just go to Chef Mickey's for dinner as our traditional "first night". We check into WL on 12/5--which is my birthday.

I am seriously thinking of putting the kids (7, 4 and 1) to bed after dinner and leaving them with the in-laws. I would like to get DH and I tickets for MVMCP all by ourselves. Then we can stay until midnight and I will be in front of the castle when the clock strikes midnight and it is my birthday with just my DH. Is this totally horrible to go the first night without kids? Also, if we wait until we get there, do you think we will still be able to get tickets for the same day MVMCP?

My 4 year old will turn 5 on 12/11. I have tickets for everyone to go to MVMCP on that day with PS at LTT complete with birthday cake and all. So, they won't miss out!

Opinions????

I think your plans are WONDERFUL!!!!!

GO FOR IT!

btw--we will be in Disney ourselves from 12/11-12/15.

Have a great time

No way are your plans horrible! You deserve some special time alone with your DH and it's a great big bonus if that time coincides with your birthday!

Study after study shows that children are better off if they have parents who take care of the marriage! Kudos to you!

FWIW, I think the entire family will have a better time at the 12/11 party if you have an opportunity to "scope" things our first!

Have a great trip and a very happy birthday!

I would like to know this also! I want to hold off buying tickets until I am sure it won't be raining.....is that safe? Does MVMCP usually sell out?
