Although I will not be able to be there, it says the Beach Boys will be at Epcot on Oct. 11,12 during the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot.:(

Now, I know I'm quite alone with my love of their music and this is quite a bummer for me to see. The one good thing is I can't imagine being in WDW and seeing the Beach Boys (what's left of them:( ) at the same time. 2 of my favorite things in this life...nope...I'd probably just die on the spot. I know I'd be overcome. :p :teeth:

So, if you get to go and hear them, think of me and know I wish I was there. Keep in mind that they are much older and the sound isn't the same (of course they have younger guys with them too so it isn't THAT bad)
Oh well, *sigh*. Like I said, I'd probably die anyway...;)

Is John Stamos still touring with them? ;)

Wish I oculd go too i missed the FaW Festival by a couple of days when we went a couple of years ago. Would love to go then but without the kids lol.

Wahhh!!!! Just my luck...we get Chubby Checker-and I saw him last year! Darn.

Hey the Beach Boys are performing at the casino this labor day also. I will think of you then too.

P.S. - I too love the BB. There was nothing better than driving on a hot sunny day with the windows down, blasting the BB music and singing at the top of your lungs.

Now that is a memory. ::yes::

I have a new best friend!!!:teeth: poochie!! I've searched for you all my life...:teeth: :p

That is the way I listen to them--blasting and singing along at the top of my lungs.

I LOVE THE BB....Heros and Villains is one of my all time favorites!

Wish I could see them at WDW.

I bet Princess Michelle will be there in the front row!;) :teeth: Hopefully she will give us a trip report!

Hi, Brenda! :wave2:

I love the Beach Boys too! I have very fond childhood memories of beach boys songs.

We just saw them in April here at the horse races. You're right, they don't sound exactly like they used to, but it was still tons of fun!

Chelsea and her friend were with us as well. They knew every song but one and were having a blast singing and dancing. They managed to get almost front and center. They were just about 12 feet from the stage.

I have friends!!! Who knew?!! :teeth:

Yup, P. Michelle is sure to be there with her earplugs in!! LOL

Lisa, I saw them in Knoxville, outside, (they sound better outside LOL) about 4 years ago. We were front row center. I am so glad your dd and her friend enjoyed it so much! I was about 13 the first time I saw them. You've never seen me until you see me at a BB concert. :p I am not sure what possesses me!

Josh, I think the whole Pet Sounds album is great. Brian Wilson was a musical genious. Too bad he got mixed up in drugs.:(

Yup, P. Michelle is sure to be there with her earplugs in!! LOL
::yes::

That'd be more like it, I'm still trying to get over Gary Pucket singing "Help Me Rhonda". :faint:

Princess Michelle is going to see the "Temptations". Now that's music! ::yes::

The Beach Boys were brilliant:D I'm afraid that is past tense however. The music made by Brian Wilson and his brothers and cousin in the 60s was terrific and is critically acclaimed. What passes for "the Beach Boys" in the 21st century is another story:(
I am a fan of what they were, but I don't know I'd spend too much time seeing the present day lineup. A chance to see Brian Wilson with the Wondermints would be very cool.:D
