I also have to book mines in Barcelona, because I'm travelling with just my daughter I'm unsure where is safe or not, I'm such a worrier lol x

Anything around Plaza Catalunya is pretty safe. So is the Eixample area. Avoid El Ravel - supposedly it was becoming more bohemian than scary, but I think it would make me nervous if I was there with a child. Also avoid the lower end of Las Ramblas - it's okay in the daytime, but too many dodgy people there at night. If I remember correctly, El Barrie Gotic is okay, but the other side of Las Ramblas, between Ramblas and Paral-lel is pretty bad. I think Avenue Diagonal is pretty safe.

The main things to be wary of in Barca are pick-pockets and scammers. The best way to avoid them is to not make yourself an easy target. I have a Pac-Safe bag that I wear cross-body. I don't worry about pickpockets or purse-snatchers because they're going to go after someone who's dangling their gigantic tote-bag purse off their arm.

If you feel something wet hit your shoulder, and someone comes up and offers to help clean the "bird poop" off your clothes, tell them "No!" (in no uncertain terms) and walk away. Chances are it's not bird poop, it's a scam. And if it is poop, you can clean it off yourself.

Barca is a beautiful city, and with just a little awareness of your surroundings you won't have a problem.

Try this: Hover over your username at the top right of the page, then click on any of the links below that, like "alert preferences." Then look at the left side of the page, where it says "Your Account" and click on "Watched Threads." That will bring up "Unread Watched Threads," and give you a list of threads you've subscribed to. If something isn't there, click on "Show all watched threads" in the blue bar at the bottom of the thread list. That should show you everything you've subscribed to. Hope this helps!

We are very excited to be going on this cruise. It be our second Disney Cruise with our two kids, Caroline (10) and Max (8). We love Disney and we were married in WDW almost 13 years ago

We plan on flying into Paris and taking the kids to Paris Disney, as well as the city of Paris, before we head down to Barcelona to get on the ship.

We look forward to joining the FE group. I will hunt through the posts for the correct person. I know my daughter and I would love to join the tea group as well.
