Another magic band question

Another one, sorry.

I know they are no longer free, so my question isn't about that. What I am wondering is if you decide to purchase the discounted ones, does everyone in your party have to buy one? I was trying to buy one for me and my daughter, but my son and husband don't care and will just use the ones they have. It would not process my order and I kept getting an error even on 2 different payment methods so I'm wondering if this could be why.

This is further complicated by the fact that I don't think you can usually complete an order for just some of your party, but my trip was booked in that weird time period where MDE still let me choose free bands that I won't actually be getting (at least I don't think I will, but even that info is vague because there is wording about picking them up at the front desk on my order). So I am trying to place an order where my daughter and I have paid for bands, but my son and husband show free ones and that may be the issue.

Honestly if I have to buy them for everybody, I'd probably just rather use the ones we already have.

You'll still need to click on your husband and son. Select "Decline pre-arrival discount". There's an option to "reuse magic band". Click that for both in addition to the ones you want to purchase and then you should be able to proceed to checkout.

I just edited my PP. There's actually a step before the reuse step...... "Decline pre arrival discount".
