Well guys after I wrote this post I ended up in the hospital with a severe lung infection (doc thinks due to my gum surgery!!) Just got out yesterday, still having a hard time with my breathing and having any energy.

I'll post more as I get better. I haven't gotten caught up on all the posts since I've been gone but I'll try later.

Just thought you might want to know in case you missed me.........

I was given antibiotics before dental surgery to prevent just this. Hopefully you feel better quickly.

Yikes! This is awful, but I sure hope you're feeling better. This gum thing is an ordeal, the sooner you get through that the better. BTW, my med school graduation diploma isn't on the wall...I'm having it cleaned. I'll bet they didn't give you even a single shot of rum in the hospital, and you're supposed to feel better???? Quacks! Scoundrels! Harumph I say. Nurse, get this patient a coffee with Rumchata and take her lunch order asap. (Kitty, hope you don't mind my nurse Andrew, he's a part-time Chippendale dancer while he finishes his nursing internship. If he distracts you....that's the point!)

Micca, I actually asked a couple of times to hang a bag of rum on the IV tree........I had room for one more bag but nooooooo.......no fun at all!!! I will say my doctor was rather cute so that was something this 62 year old woman looked forward to every morning!

They did but apparently it didn't work.

So I think winter is actually starting here. It is cold, rainy & just generally a yuck day/evening. So running a nice bath with bubbles, candles & that chilled glass of chardonnay

Do you remember a bubble bath product called "Mr. Bubble?" Some years ago I saw someone (adult) in a Mr. Bubble t-shirt that read "Makes Getting Clean Almost As Fun As Getting Dirty." Pretty sure there was some irony there.

Anybody going for the Target gift card sale this weekend? We've had luck previously buying the Target cards at 10 percent off, then buying Disney gift cards with them. The limit is $300, so you might get $300 in Disney cards for $270. Every little bit...

OMG I love Mr Bubble. I still buy for DGDs. Also Crayola makes a painting bath bubble.

We got the Target cards, with 6 of us - hey kids can buy too!!!!! The big trip is April 2018 - whole family at Art of Animation. Small trip just us - see below.

Micca, we used Mr. Bubble all the time when the boys were little!! Loved the smell and loved how my boys smelled after a nice clean bath......they could get soooo dirty playing outside!!!

I used to love Mr. Bubble, but I haven't seen it in ages. I had a really bad habit of dumping way too much in the bath. I still really like bubbles.

I always liked the powder version when I was a kid. But like @Liberty Belle i eventually developed a rash too. Mom tried the liquid form and it didn't give me a rash but it just wasn't the same so I quit cold turkey. My mom can even tell you memories of that day much like me quitting my pacifier or diaper!

Same here, especially in the Jacuzzi. I learned to much and get to clean my bathroom while enjoying the bath. We literally had bubbles about 1/2 way up the walls.

Awesome! We have a couple of bald eagles a few minutes from our house. It's always fun to spot them.

Yo Ho. Bored stupid at LAX.

Cruise was better than expected. Didn't sink or hit any icebergs We all loved Mexico and the kids want a holiday there next year instead of the US. My arm could be twisted

Did get the lowest internet package but needed it to chq emails from home. Sadly we lost our beloved black cat two days ago which has put a dampener on things

Hope all at ALDIO is okay. We're off to New Orleans next, woohoo!!

Jo!!!!!!!!! Geez I'm sorry to hear about your cat, that's just tough no matter how you look at it. I thought you'd like the cruise, so...glad I was right New Orleans is awesome, I don't think there's a bad place to eat in the entire city. Be sure to try a Hurricane cocktail...it's rum and then some.
