Mum is okay; just has has an especially needy couple of days the past two.

We're nice and cool this evening with a mere 105 degree heat index, so I'm enjoying a glass of reisling on the deck. Trying to acclimate myself to these temps since we're in for it through October according to the weather channel. You suck, La Nina.

P.S. The horse is good. We went to the barn and hosed him off. Gave him some cold carrots and cold water. He's a happy boy now.
