Sincere apologies if this has been answered elsewhere; I searched and couldn’t find an answer to this exact question.

It’s been a while since I’ve used the Disneyland system, and when I do I always feel like I do it wrong. 😂 So let’s say you book a LL for more than 2 hours from the booking time. I understand that you wait two hours and then can book another attraction. But if that second LL time is earlier than the original booking, are you able to book another ride after scanning in? Or do you have to wait another two hours because you’re still waiting on the original booking?

Here’s the scenario: I’d like to book GOTG early in the morning and modify it until the afternoon. Then I’d like to make my way around Pixar Pier and hopefully make it to Goofy’s Sky School and Soarin’ in that first hour or two after park opens. Can I book, for example, Goofy’s Sky School at the 2 hr mark, scan in, book Soarin’, scan in, and then book Webslingers for the afternoon? Or, if I book and ride Goofy’s Sky School, do I have to wait another two hours?

Once you check in for that second LL you reserved, you can get a third LL. No need to wait for the original (first) booking.

Thanks for replying. So just to clarify, I can book my first LL, wait 2 hrs, then book my second, use it immediately, then book a third, use it immediately, and so on?

Yes, but if you are wanting to ride something right away, book your first LL for over 2 hours from now. The modify that LL to an earlier time. That way you can ride sooner, and book another ride sooner.

Your 2 hours lock out is from your most-recently booked LL. If I can’t remember when my next LL booking window opens, I just try to book a LL for anything. The app will tell you it is too soon to book, and then it will say “you can book your next LL at xx:xx” so you know exactly when your next window opens for booking.

Thanks for the response! So if I want to book a ride for 2+ hours in the future (GOTG, for example), and I just want to keep that in my back pocket to ride much later in the day, I can book another ride 2 hours later that has a closer return time, use that LL, and then book another LL immediately, because I’ve scanned into my most recent booking? Once you hit 2 hours after that first booking, everything from that point on is dependent on the second LL?

That’s correct.
