Just a reminder, if you don't periodically check your point balances (especially if you have multiple contracts), you should.
We have 4 contracts (all one use year and membership). The initial purchase of 210 at BWV followed by an add-on of 40 at BWV.
Fast forward 11 years and we have a 75 and 50 point contract at BLT.
We just returned from a great trip and after reviewing points discovered that 40 points were in holding. All 40 of the 2nd BWV contract. A call to MS revealed that we supposedly had a cancellation on 10/10/11. After explaining no, nothing canceled and a bit of time on hold all was fixed. Fixed with no explanation as to what had happened, just a return of the points.
What was interesting is it was all 40 points from one of our contracts. Not a portion of the points or those points plus other points. Just the one contract. None of our recent reservations were for exactly 40 points (which we didn't cancel anyway).
I assume a CM somewhere miss keyed something on someone else's cancellation and therefore our points were moved?
Anyway, all is well, but a reminder to check your balances periodically.
