Another Jedi Training Question on Dream

On recent navigators I see that they have a Jedi Training in the theatre on the 4 night Dream. How are kids picked? is it first ones there get selected so you need to be there an hour ahead or is showing up 15 minutes ahead good enough? Is it entertaining enough for the kids watching even if they aren't picked?

Trying to set realistic expectations for everyone knowing we cant possibly do it all. Thanks!

DS was selected on our trip. We were there early and waiting in line, but we're not at the head of the line. A CM walked up and down the line and pulled out 3 kids after surveying his option. DS did have a Stormtropper shirt on, so I don't know if that helped.
