Another Hard Lesson Learned on VMK

Hello Everyone,

Well it looks as if life just dished out another hard lesson learned.

My daughter, Best-Tinkaboo just "lost" some of her rare items. She was in a room titled "Win Free Golden Ears," which was a game of falling chairs. She was competing with other girls and after each round the owner told the "loser" either pay rare or boot. Apparently the girls reported owner and staff member VMK_Fushion came into room and told girl she needed to change title, which she did.

The game continued on until it was just my daughter and one other player (in the meantime my daughter paid her rare items; a christmas skeleton, pirates well and a halloween bag to continue on). When it got to the last two players (Best-Tinkaboo and other player) the owner "disappeared." My daughter waited for a few moments because she thought maybe the owner got DC'd, not the case. She never returned. My daughter and the others who were in the room reported her, but she never heard back from staff.

If she remembers the girls title, I suggest using the contact us (on the bottom of the VMK page) and report the player again..

And on a happier note I am more than willing to give your DD some of the things she lost in the game... just let me know a good time to meet up with her and I will be there!

Well, I got cheated out of my 4th of July hat due to a game of Falling Chairs: it was the last two, and I lost: I then paid "super-rare" to commit a Revenge.

The owner treated it like any old Pay and continued the game. I was so pissed off... Staff didn't do anything, so don't try that route.


The best thing to do is to avoid games like these. Play with Dis people... They're generally honest.

I'm sorry. This is why I stay away from cute or boot, falling chairs, etc.

I have an extra well and halloween bags that your DD is more than welcome to. Let me know when we can meet up in VMK.

This seems to be the new scam in VMK I am seeing it more and more

Stay away from any game that makes you pay. In the long run you will be out some good items.

I too can help your daughter out. Just look for Mousepatrol.

Thank you everyone for your advice and kind offers to replenish her items (although I cerntainly didn't post for that reason)!

Pirate-Emery you are so correct (Play with Dis people... They're generally honest.)! My daughter loves the disboards and has experienced first hand the generosity and kindness of fellow "disers."

We have definitely learned a lesson and I hope that others who read this thread will be take this warning and avoid these types of games!

Thank you again for your kindness. My daughter and I will both be on the Disboards and VMK tomorrow (perhaps I will pm you to let you know where we are) and look forward to meeting up with all of you!
