I love it when Christopher put that 20 dollar bill on his mothers fridge. How poetic. It was funny, shocking, and full of suspense. Just another great Sopranos Epsiode...the wait was well worth it. What did everyone else think?

I'm still processing, but I liked it....:D

Pauly is gonna be a problem. Christopher is gonna get in over his head and Junior won't make it to trial......Gonna be a good year for the boys.....

I liked it, I guess, but after the loooong wait, I wanted more. Luckily, the West coast feed starts in another hour. :teeth:

Janet

PAULIE?? What's up with him??? That seems out of left field.

Yeah...that thing with Paulie. I thought it was a dream or something.

To answer your Paulie question, the actor who plays him has some type of cancer and had to have treatments. So David Chase (the creator and writer) had to go back and rewrite 10 episodes. They filmed that Paulie scene only a few weeks ago but the rest of that episode was shot months ago. It seems that Paulie's character is gonna be out of storyline for a while since the actor was in the hospital during filming.

Sirico has cancer? How sad.....:(

I think it's great. It looks like the NY mob is looking to set-up Paulie to get him to join them. Things could get rough between Tony & Paulie & I think the issues with Christopher are gonna come to a head.

I think Uncle Junior is gonna die, either by health reasons/rubbed out/or possibly suicide (looking to avoid prison).

I think the drug use is gonna get Chris into trouble, probably with the feds & if that happens I think Paulie may take advantage of the situation.

The Ralph-Janice-Rosalie triangle thing might be a plot drag, but Janice has never been a character I've really cared for anyway.

I think Bobby is way over his head & it looks like that is gonna cause some problems.

Even with the extra time off, it seems like they haven't missed a beat.

Who's "Bobby?"
And....how is Carmella supposed to find
all that money if Tony gets arrested or
knocked off? I don't like Janice either.
I'd have been happy if they'd left her in
Seattle after she killed that Aprillo creep she
was going to marry. I'm also really tired of
Tony's shrink, I don't think her character is
important to the plot. I guess he imparts some
information to us through her. I liked the
scenes in the house, around the table with
Carmella's parents-it makes the whole group
seem more real. Can't wait til next week. Funny
that Ralphie is in Stubenville, Ohio and in jail
but not so funny about the actor's cancer, sorry
to hear it.

And what was up with Carmella asking for the one guy, if he was coming to the house. (Cant think of the guys name--i have a mental block---but he was the real italian name)

And did you notice they shot new previews for the FBI girl who made friends with Chris's girlfriend. I liked Debbie Mazur better. I do not like this new agent.

And is the nurse really the plant, hummm. Think they might try to track her down.

So funny, I was watching at a friend's house in Whippany, NJ. (Heck, I grew up in Boonton. There are no slums there, and there's maybe one murder per year - of course, they kill off Jackie Junior there)

How is Christopher Tony's nephew? I believe his only siblings are Janice and that sister that is removed from "the family".

Luvwinnie its his cousin through marriage.

I am not as big a fan as I was the first season, since the mother died. To me she made the show, now I just watch to see the old neighborhood and check out a few old stomping grounds.

I think Junior will be prosecuted
Bobby Baccala will die of a heart attack
Ralphie will get whacked
Another attempt on Tonys life possibly involving the NY mob
Carmela has an affair or at least flirst with one
AJ has problems in school
Meadow fantasizes with suicide
Janice needs to be written out ofthe show'

**The fed is that doctor from Juniors office
and the undercover one will reach out to Adriana to set-up Tony

and Paulie Walnuts will run for Govenor --- Okay thats my wish

At the meeting for all the mob leaders

Big NY Mob Leader to Tony

"Did you have a big picinic at your home during the summer?"

Tony replies,

"yes"

Big NY Mob Leader replies back,

"Don's don't wear shorts"

What a great line!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was Fairuza Balk from the final episode? I could have sworn it was her, not D.Mazur?

And did anyone notice how they've toned down the blondness of Carmella and Adrianna's hair color? Hmmm......

I thought the first episode was just okay. I thought last season's premiere was much better. This time, they seemed to jump right in without any explanations, like Ralphie and Janice? What the??????

And with Paulie being in jail all of a sudden? They should've at the very least had Tony being told via cell phone or something that he had been arrested, this way when they showed him in prison on the phone, we'd have some kind of idea what was going on!

Oh well......to be continued!

Yes you are right, it was Fairuza Balk. It was interesting to see how they enen re-shot the preview seen for that character.

Okay, I wasn't just imagining it!

When they showed the scene that was supposed to be from last season with Adrianna being be-friended by the undercover agent, I was like who is this chick?

I think this new one kind of fits in better though...she looks the "type" that Adrianna would be friends with.

I expected something. In the season #3 finale at Artie's restaurant, Janice is all over Ralphie. I thought it was weird, but I did notice it. She was practically in his lap with her hands all over him.

No Chris is not technically a nephew. In a lot of Italian families, if the parents are cousins, the children call their parent's cousins Aunt or Uncle (my cousins children call me Auntie Annie).

I believe Carmella and one of Chris's parents were cousins.

I thought the episode was just okay too. If you are going to make me wait a year and a half for a season premiere, I'd like a little more please. And what was up with the music when Tony walked out to the end of the driveway in his bathrobe to get the newspaper?
