ANOTHER Fastpass question...

Hi everyone!

Does each member of your party need to get a fastpass for one ride if all riding together? Let me explain...

I am going to WDW with 7 other people. Do we each need to put our ticket in the fastpass machine at space mountain or can one person do it and our whole group gets to go in the fastpass line when the time comes? I guess basically what I want to know is whether at one time my group will be able to have 8 fastpasses for 8 different rides or will we all need to get fastpasses for one ride at a time if we all want to stick together the whole day?

You all have to have your own fastpass for each ride. You can't have more than one fast pass until the time noted on the fastpass. So you all need to stick your ticket in the fastpass machine.

every person who is riding needs a fast pass for that ride. 1 person may take all the tickets and obtain passes for everyon while the were somewhere else but everyone getting on the ride needs a fast pass

Yes, everyone needs to have a ticket for fastpass, and for the most part, you are only allowed one at a time.

Thats what I figured...oh well. Would have been awesome if you only needed one for your party...but then I guess the fastpass line would be just as long as the regular line.

I think someone may have already mentioned that one person can collect all the fastpasses for your group if they have each person's ticket. I or DW have done that while the other takes the kids (the rest of our group) on an attraction. This works best if someone in the group does not want to go on a particular attraction.

Or if the line for the next ride is long and the group can save a place for the FP runner.
