I just read this online. I went on Mission Space once and got really dizzy afterwards, that I had to sit down outside for about 20 minutes. It didnt effect anyone else in my family this way except me and I love all the other rides there.

I found it almost funny that after all of the belly aching about this ride, the line for the tame version was 5 minutes Sunday, while the regular line was 50.

When we were there in May they didn't have the non-spinning version up yet. That's the only way I'm riding it! No spinning for me!

I'll be interested to see what one she was on.

In my opinion - yes!
I did not feel right for an hour after I rode it. I will never go on it again.

If you can't handle Body Wars, there is no way I'd ride MS.

I rode it and to tell you the truth, I didn't see what the big deal about it was. However, both my DH and I found that our equilibrium was off for about 24 hours.

It does do "something" to you, but I think it depends on each individual what that "something" is.

We've ridden MS before without any problems, but I can definitely say that if Body Wars makes you sick you should stay away from MS. I just wish that all these incidents would stop.

It's about 100 degrees in Florida and people don't drink as much water as their supposed to. Then the idiots proceed to get on a ride with numerous warnings of its effects , you ride at your own risk. I can't even imagine what it would do to a person who has had alcohol . Give me a break people take responsibility for you own body and the things you CHOSE to do even after all the warning signs. Man I am sooo sick of hearing about this. For goodness sakes she passed out and its headline news .

Ride the green, "no spin" side! Or as my family calls it the "no hurl" version.

I would always break into a cold sweat on the spin version and I'd have to stare straight forward to avoid getting sick, it wasn't fun. I was skeptical at how good the "no spin" version would be but it's a really great ride, one of my favorites at Disney! I can press all the buttons, relax and just enjoy the ride, even my kids love the new version.

Just say no to orange and go for the green.

I feel the same way.

It's a fast spinning ride, with lots of warnings for people with certain conditions that might get exacerbated during this type of ride. If you have one of these conditions, or are prone to get dizzy on spinning rides, then DON'T GO ON!

The amount of spinning and g-forces is comparable to one of those circular spinning rides at your local carnival... You know, the big cage where people stand around the perimeter while the whole thing goes up on it's side. There is nothing holding you in except your own g-forces. Mission Space isn't any worse in terms of amount of spinning, it's just gotten a ton more hype. If only the media were as quick to jump on every ill-fated reaction of that carnival ride I bet the bad hype Mission Space gets would quickly fade from everyone's minds.

I'm sorry about the most recent event of a lady losing consciousness and I hope she is alright. I just wish the media wouldn't publicize every little thing, striking fear in the readers just because they have a "story" they know will get people buzzing.

What a shame. Hope she's OK, but like a previous poster said, she may not have been hydrated enough.

I wonder how long it will be until Disney says "to hell with this" and shuts it down for good.

This freaks me out.

I will go on anything. Any thrill ride, anything, anything, anything. I drove to Cedar Point the year Millenium Force opened and waited 4 1/2 hours on opening weekend to ride it.

BUT - for some odd reason, I never wanted to try M:S.

I almost wonder if it's always been a divine intervention, or something.

My blood pressure is kinda wacky - I probably would'a died.
