Another Entertainment book question...

I'm contemplating getting the Orlando Entertainment Book but I just don't know if it's worth it. I tried what mousesavers suggested and bout a $3.99 subscription for the month but they did't have the $20 off National Car coupon I was hoping for. I hear that the book is good for hotel rates, but I already have accommodations at a timeshare. So is it worth it?

I'm hoping that it would have the $20 off National Car Coupon and maybe some good restaurant coupons to make it worth it. We already bought our tickets from ticketmania so that's out too. Any insight??? (we're going in Sept...do the books go on sale then?)

Another thought...are the coupons different online than in the book?

The online coupons are different than the ones in the book. There is a $20 off coupon for National in the book. There are also several restaurant coupons and coupons for minor attractions.

You can preview the book online before buying it. It can help you make your decision. Go to Entertainment.com . Click on the "Buy a Book" link at the top, right of the page. Scroll down to "Florida, The Orlando Book" and click on the "View It" link.

The books are "on sale" now. You can get the book for $10 off and free shipping if you go thru the MouseSavers.com link. The 2005 books will go on sale in October/November 2004. Many of the offers in the 2004 book will expire in October or November.

You do not even have to go through mousesavers.com you can just go to the Entertainment website. The book is only 15.00 and no shipping. I checked to see that I would use 15.00 worth of coupons in order to break even . It was Very easy. Pick one good restaurant that has a high pay back value and you are there.
There is even a coupon for a buy one get one sundae at Ghiridelli right there you are looking at 6.50. After you spend your 15 the rest is gravy.
Also, there are many coupons on line for restaurants who did not make it in the book on time. Once you register your book you can print them out. The only problem with that is you need to go restaurant by restaurant in your book and click on it on the site to be able to find out if it is an on line coupon. Also, the on line coupons are good only for two weeks from the time you print them so you need to be sure you print the day before or even the day you leave to give you maximum lead time.
The Ghiridelli coupon is one of the on line ones that needs to be printed.

I am sure someone else knows the details about this but just wanted to let you know that we bought the entertainment book last year right before our trip in August for $5 and free shipping. I know the deal was because all of the coupons expire in October or November but since I was just getting it for the trip it was perfect. So you might want to wait a little bit if you don't need it right now :)
