Another DVC watch...

Just got back from a short trip to WDW. Stopped in the Boardwalk gift shop and noticed another DVC watch.This one was made by Skagen. Very sleek with a similar face like the Fossil DVC watch. The CM said it just came out and is not a limited edition... Price 125.00. I didn't see any of the Fossil DVC watches at the Boardwalk or Old Key West. Has anyone else seen these?

I think the limited editions are all gone. That's what the castmember at OKW told me in December.

When I was at Disney in December, I was told that a new watch was coming out in a few months that would be priced around $85. It would not be a limited edition.

I don't think they can be all gone if they were supposed to be limited to 1000 of each men's and women's and we have yet to see a watch over 500.

I did think of that but I remember someone posting previously they had been told it's 1000 of each.

My watch is printed with 0125/1000 right on the back, so I assume it is number 125 of 1000 women's watches.

We just got back from Vero Beach. They still had the fossil watches, low numbers too. We saw the new Skagen watches. Very nice, but $125 is way to much. I was hoping for about $60. I guess DVC knows that we're addicted and they can get us for the whole $125.

Actually, I still have the Vacation Magic where it says 1000 of EACH. My gut is that they did them in 500 lots to see how quickly they sold. I bet Disney has totally abandoned this for the Skaagen. DH has a Fossil one and loves it, but he can't wait to get the Skaagen, too. Yep...he's hooked!!!
