Does anyone else ALWAYS get a busy signal when calling the DVC 800 number? Ive been trying for hours and can't even get in the que. Last week was the same. Is there another number to get through on?

Just got off the phone with them. I too got busy signals but what I did was to just keep dialing immediately after I got the busy signal. After about 7 -8 times I got in. I was then on hold for about 10 minutes. So be sure you have something to do while you are waiting.:goodvibes

There is the local 1-407 number you can call. It is located on the back of your member card.

The 407 number is 407-566-3800, but I had better luck with the 800 number the other day.

i had the same problem for 2 straight days and finally email them and this is what they wrote :

"We appreciate your feedback regarding the busy signals you have
experienced when contacting Member Services recently, and would like to

apologize for the delay in reaching a Vacation Advisor. During times
when we experience higher-than-average call volume, you may receive a
busy signal when all phone lines coming into our office are being
occupied by other Members. We have taken action in this matter, and
are
moving in a positive direction in order to alleviate these challenges
in
the future."

You know, very few people this year are saying that once they actually get through that they have a 20 min or so wait time before being routed to a CM. But that was fairly common last year. I wonder if they have done some program changes to where if the wait time it "too long" that the system rings busy? Remember that once the number is actually in the phone queue for the 800 number, the billing starts to DVC. Maybe it is a way to save costs? Though personally, I'd prefer to be on hold in a phone queue to constant busy signals. With so many people getting free nationwide long-distance these days, there's no reason why the 407 number couldn't go into a long hold pattern. If it is a toll call for you, you could hang up or use the 800 number.

OMG! I dialed that 800 number at least 50 times today from 9:00 to 1:30 and got a combination of busy signals, all-circuits are busy recording, and just plain dead silence. In between all of those dialings, I called the 407 number and received a combination of the same three responses. Finally, at 3:20 I called the 800 number 12 times repeatedly, busy...Then I dialed the 407 number and ring!!!! I was so excited! I did wait about 14 minutes to get a CM but I got my reservations and honestly, I felt as excited as I was when we first bought DVC! It was such a relief to finally get through AND get my villas!
