Another Dress Question for 4 Night Dream

My family of four (DH, DS 16, DD14 and myself) will be on th 4/17 Dream and I'm starting to pack. Sorry for another how to dress question, but everyone just wants to be comfortable and they are totally ignoring me. Can my son wear dress jeans to dinner and a nice shirt? Does he have to wear a jacket (he does not look 16, he is 6'3")? I have nice dresses I can wear and did already pack one, but if they aren't going to be dressed then I will down play it. I did pack 3 dress pants and dressy blouses. Is this good enough? I don't want to look out of place if people are wearing gowns or look like they're at a wedding. I really feel like teaching them a lesson and let them go in shorts and sneakers, maybe then they will get it. This is our first cruise and they just want to relax.
