Another Disneyland maingate questions

Hi everyone,

If I book a blue maingate pass for a park and a self admit for the same park same day, can the spouse go in with 3 guests and the cast member come in later on the self admit? Cast member is meeting up with other friends earlier in the day.

I know we can do this at WDW but was confused about DL.

I have done it, but years ago, not under the current system. (Pre-park reservations). Actually I think my situation reversed, and I was entering early in the day, with my friends arriving later. So I went in as self admit and brought them in later as MEP.

You would need to book a park reservation as MEP and self admit for that day. Once I had booked both as MEP and self admit and CM saw it and scanned my in twice so I would not get penalized as a no show. So it seems POSSIBLE but I am unsure whether it is technically "allowed" but it seems logical to me.

I am now realizing my answer was not helpful, sorry!

Thanks for trying! The entire thing is confusing to me. Just trying to figure out how many comp tickets we need just in case.

Yes. A spouse can enter using a Main Entrance Pass with three guests. A CM can later self admit the same day.
