Gulfport native here. I love our disney outlet, it is very nice and seems to have some adult clothing. Not sure if it is as nice as when Disney owned the stores, since we never had one here. My DD 22 mnths and I make a trip to the Disney store here at least once a week. She loves to just go in and look at the characters and watch whatever promos they are playing on the tv's located inside. Surely ours won't be closing since it just opened?I agree also from New Orleans(actually Metairie) but close enough I wish they would get more adult stuff too. Now I do have a 3 yr old but it is even hard to find stuff for him. That is why I do most of my disney shopping online. Can't wait to check out the new outlet in Gulfport hopefully I'll get there this month.
mickeymousemom where in Indiana are you from?
Here's the BIG QUESTION: Are those stores that are closing having a huge "going out of business" sale? Imagine the shopping opportunities...![]()

Thank you -- it's nice to know that someone has thought of the thousands of people who will be losing their jobs shortly
As someone who works in one of the possibly closing stores, I have to say, it's a little upsetting to see that all anyone cares about is their own shopping desires. This event is so much bigger than that. There are peoples' lives at stake here. .
How do you know what stores are closing?
Totally agree, there are some wonderful people who I have met at our store..
GREAT story.. the last time I was there with DH... we were talking to our favorite CM saying how sad we were that we wouldn't see her. She mentioned that Childrens Place was trying to find jobs for people... but she wasn't going to stay in retail...
WELL.. DH hired her!!!She started this week at his company.
.
This is EXACTLY what I keep getting....and I see no choice for April 3rd...only the first and the seventh.
first you need to go here
http://chapter11.epiqsystems.com/
the go clients, the all active cases
under H click on Hoop retail stores
this will bring you to their page.
click dockets on the top of the page...
on this page there will be a place that says docket search. search for #91
when you get to the next page there will be a small box and to the right there is the word image.. click on that and itll give you 6 options the first is exhibit b part 3. if you download this one itll tell our all the stores supposedly closing... ( its the last few pages
the next exhibit B part 1 is the ones they are keeping
Remember that the current list is only tentative and it may change. The legally binding list (i.e. final list) will not come out until April 22, 2008.Thanks, that did it for me!!
Looks like Westfarms is staying open!
I tried it, step by step, as tigger1 posted. I found the link, and my computer downloaded a file. However, I cannot get it to open so I cannot read the list.
Is the Concord, NC store staying? It is brand new! I love it!
Looks like my store in NH is going, but I just called and the CM who answered the phone said they aren't closing. Have they been told to say this or is there hope? I haven't been there in a while, so I don't know if they are having a sale.
Ok, that is like every Disney Store in our state!![]()

Seriously, I live in Indiana and the ones listed there are the only ones I even know of.And our store has a "now hiring" sign in the window! So I thought we were going to be in the clear.
Is it because all our malls are Simon malls???
I'm glad to hear that the MOA store is one they plan to keep open, and that those who work there will be able to keep their jobs. I hope Disney puts some money into the store. The original Disney store at the Mall of America was very nice, but the one they have now just looks terrible.
