Another Dining Plan ??

Sorry , but I just had an idea and I want to make sure I understand everything correctly before I present to DH. We never thought we would use the Dining Plan because of our eating style and having DDE, but it might work in this situation.
We are arriving at the BWV late afternoon Sat May 26th. We are staying that night in a 1 bdrm before checking into our GV on Sunday. We are flying into Tampa and driving so we will have a rental car and plan to do some grocery shopping after moving into the GV. My idea is.... Can we get the dining plan for the first night we are in the 1 bdrm? If so when do the credits expire? Would we be able to use them the next day after we check out of the 1 bdrm and into the GV? This might work great to let us have dinner Sat night and lunch on Sunday before going grocery shopping. If we have to use them before checking into the new unit, then it won't work.

The credits for the DDP expire on midnight of the day you check out...so, it sounds like you would be able to do what you are planning and use the credits for Sunday dinner when you check out/move on Sunday morning.

We are actually doing the same thing (checking in on Fri, May 25 and moving Sun, May 27) and we are using the dining plan for our first 2 nights. We plan on doing our character meals those days since my "adult" children don't really eat adult portions so this way we may get our monies worth.
