Another crowd question June 25th-28th

I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this or not, but here it goes anyway, flame me later

Now that I'm locked into a hotel (prepay, but a good deal!), how are crowds last week of June? We're planning on being at the DLR from June 25th to the 28th, probably just going to do two days in the parks (DL and DCA), I want to add a third, but that'll take convincing my wife So you regulars, let me know what I can expect based on your historical observations!

Well, June 25 is the day after the official reopening of POTC, and since it's still a weekend date, it'll probably be a madhouse in DL, especially around New Orleans Square. I would suggest getting to POTC as early as possible so that you don't have to deal with the crowds later on. As a regular, I only experienced several trips after July 9 (when we got our AP's) which can be just as crazy. Weekends will always be crowded because many schools are out for the summer. My old elementary school used to get out around late June and not open till early September. It wasn't year-round, so to speak.

Yeah, I figure it'd be busy because of POTC re-opening, so we were planning on visiting DL either monday or tuesday (probably tuesday). We arrive on the 25th to SNA, so we'll probably check into the hotel and maybe run around DTD or just maybe hit the coastal areas. We're not 100% sure yet.

Hopefully it won't be too bad on tuesday, but yes, the first thing I am going to ride is POTC. It'll have been over 5 years since I last rode it at DL. Thanks for the feedback!

Last year, I was there on Friday, June 24th where myself and 2 of my friends rode every single ride at DL. It wa exhausting.

To answer your question, the crowds were moderately large. As is with most Friday evenings when AP come to the parks after work, it gets really crowded on Friday night. Get there early and use FP.

Thanks for the tip. We get in on sunday some time, by the time we get the car, drive over to the hotel, check in, dump the luggage and feed the baby we'll be too tired to hit the parks, so I'm thinking DCA on Monday, DL on tuesday, maybe wed.
