another confused newbie...AAA vs. Travelocity

I have reserved a room thru Disney at Pop Century in December but they tell me there are no AAA rates available. However, on the Travelocity site they list rooms available for the same date as available with AAA discount. Will the room eventually become available at the AAA thru Disney or would it be better to book thru Travelocity since it is cheaper?

What is the cancellation policy if a better rate come out? Will they honor a better rate or are you locked in? There is suppose to be a sale in 8/17.
