Got a 40% off disney visa code yesterday for stays over a short period of time in nov and dec of this year. unfortunately we are going next summer so cannot take advantage of this great code

At least you know you are on the list... and maybe they will keep them coming your way until you finally DO get to use one.

The samething happened to us. DH and I both received our very first PIN ever a few weeks ago. It was the one for $556/adult at a value, but we couldn't use it because the dates didn't work for us.

We've been hoping, wishing and praying for the 40%, 35%, 20% discount that can be applied pretty much throughout all of next year. So far nothing.

How does one go about obtaining these codes. Or getting on a list to at least recieve the offer?

John, that's the million dollar question. It's a mystery to most of us. Several people suggest registering on the Disney websites and signing up for anything and everything Disney related (including sweeps). Others claim that after creating itineraries on the Disney website and/or requesting Disney maps and/or Disney vacation planning DVDs, they've received PIN codes. I believe these strategies may work only if you happen to live in a particular zip code. We happen to live in the northeast. So far we've only received one PIN code and unfortunately we couldn't use it since we are locked into late June through early July travel.
