Family drinks semi-skimmed (2%). We'll transition temporarily to whole milk when little one is drinking it and then migrate back to 2%. I just switched the whole family otherwise a bunch of milk will go to waste, especially at the beginning of her transition.
We're all skim. DD was on whole milk until she was 2 (and I sometimes indulged in it myself because I LOVE the flavor of whole milk). But then her ped said that we should switch her to 1% or skim. And since I already drank skim, we just switched her to that. She never noticed the difference.
I can not stand the taste of milk but when I buy it to make things like pancakes with I buy 2%. Skim milk looks like blueish white water so I just can't buy that.

Couldn't vote in the poll. Most of the time we drink 1% -- just can't make the switch to skim because it tastes so watery to me. Once in a while we'll buy 2% or whole for recipes.
This is what we buy. I recently went to their website and found some coupons for them too! I have tried 2 or 3 other brands of organic, and keep coming back to Horizon.
I also keep a much smaller regular milk around for cooking as well..but no longer for drinking.
I don't drink any milk. I'm not allergic but it makes me feel sick.
When I was younger I would drink milk to make myself sick so I wouldn't have to go to school that day.
Same here! We've been drinking skim milk for at least 10 years and anything else is too rich. I would gag at the thought of drinking whole milk....blech, it's so white and thick looking!!
