Okay, so it's a little bit of a tacky title, I'll admit, but what can I say? I've gone to Disney World with every boyfriend I've ever had. (Sure, it's only three, but I'm twenty one, so give me a break.)

First, it was this guy:

That's my very first boyfriend, Curtis. He and his mom introduced me to Disney World. I'd never been on a real vacation before, much less to Disney! I was seventeen the first time I went, and believe it or not I didn't care much for Disney World. I was hot, uncomfortable, anxiety ridden, and felt sick the majority of the time. I had enough fun to go back with Curtis once again, however, and enjoyed myself a bit more. We had a third trip planned but we broke up before hand, and I went with my mom and sister sans boyfriend. That trip was the first one that I really enjoyed, because I was in charge. I'd learned all the tricks from his mom, then changed them to suit my personality. And it was really that third trip that made me love Disney.

Then there was Matt.

Matt and I have been to Disney World together three times, and one of those trips was actually earlier this year, months after our break up. We're best friends. In fact, Matt, his girlfriend Erin, and I all live together. I know it sounds crazy, but we really are best friends. The first time we went to Disney was my first trip as an "adult", as in I was the one who made all the plans, payed for it, chose what we did, and basically told Matt where we were going and when. That first trip together was one of my all time favourite Disney trips. It was awesome showing Matt Disney World. He is my favourite person to travel with. He knows all my quirks and deals with my overactive bladder better than most. I'd like to go back to Disney with him in 2014, and bring Erin along too. She's never been before and we really want to introduce her to the parks!

And now, there's Fred.

Anyone know who we're dressed as?

Fred and I are going on our very first Disney trip together in a little over one month! We've been dating since May (we made it official in June), but we've actually known each other for years. We've had periods of being best friends, and periods of not talking, and now we're boyfriend and girlfriend...again. (Though the first time was two weeks when I was sixteen so that hardly counts. =P)

Fred has been to Disney World many times...but he doesn't remember them. He was a kid, and they traveled a lot. He mostly remembers Universal Studios, not Disney. So even though this isn't his first trip, in a way it feels like it is. It's his first trip with me, after all, and I probably do things a bit differently than his parents did!

The two of us will be driving, along with his parents, to Orlando the day after Christmas. We'll spend a week in a villa with them, and then it's off to Disney World for our personal Disney vacation!

This is my pre-trip-report, to help me get organized, tell everyone how excited I am, discuss the details, and hopefully find some like minded dissers who can appreciate a silly, bad-word-saying, cartoon-watching, delicious-food-loving, Disney-trip-planning girl like me.

Fred and I will be leaving on December 26th with his parents. We're driving from Texas to Florida. We'll spend a few days with his parents, their friend Sarah, and her daughter before going to Old Key West.

Resort Plans

Disney's Old Key West Resort
Deluxe Studio
Check In: January 1st
Check Out: January 10th
6 park days, 3 resort days

Fred and I rented points from a wonderful Disser named Kim, which is why we're staying in Old Key West instead of a value resort! We got a wonderful deal renting points and getting our tickets from Undercover Tourist. We also got the dining plan. The trip ended up being cheaper this way than the same trip in a value resort would have been, and I'm very excited to stay in Old Key West for the first time.

We're going to visit all four theme parks. The plan right now is to go to Magic Kingdom and Epcot twice. I also want to check out Winter Summerland Mini Golf and Splitsville since we have three days that we aren't going to parks.

That sounds like so much fun! I had my first adult trip to Disney with my last boyfriend a few years ago and I had a blast!

I'll actually be in Disney January 3rd through the 5th with my Sister, Brother in Law and nephew Liam for his 5th birthday (its a surprise trip to him). :yay:

I ended up renting points too for the first time and we are staying at Animal Kingdom Jambo and doing the dining plan as well! Such a great deal! I've been to disney like 3 times and I have loved it more each time!

Do you know what restaurants you are eating at on the dp??? :mickeyjum

I am SO jealous that you're staying in Animal Kingdom Villas! I wanted to stay there but there was no availability for my dates. Still, I'm really happy about Old Key West, and I'm going to try to get Animal Kingdom Villas for my next trip.

I hope you guys have a blast! I think it should be a good time to go...hopefully most of the Christmas crowds will be leaving.

Yes, I know my dining plans. I'm going to post them next!

I'm super excited about it! I think.my nephew will love the animals :) We are actually there til the 8th idk why i said 5th that would be way too short of a Disney trip for me lol!

I've heard great things about okw especially the fact that they have two queen beds in their studios! I was strongly considering it for a while but looks like liam and I will be sharing the pull out!

I'm excited to hear what your restaurant reservations are!

So, like I said in my updated post with my dining plans, I have two before-the-park-opens breakfasts planned at Magic Kingdom. In the six times I've been to Disney World, I've never been to a breakfast before the park opened that I can recall.

I did go to the Mother's Day Brunch in Epcot one year. Though it was a special event, I don't think we got in the park earlier than other patrons...but I could be wrong.

The first Magic Kingdom breakfast we have is Crystal Palace. I've eaten here for dinner but not for breakfast. I love the restaurant, and am a big fan of breakfast food, so I'm interested to see how it compares to dinner. Fred also likes buffets, so I hope he enjoys it, even though he's not big on Winnie The Pooh.

The second Magic Kingdom breakfast is Cinderella's Royal Table. I've never eaten here, so I am very excited! I know the food isn't considered great, and you're paying for the experience of eating in the castle. Since it's an experience I've never had, it seems worth it to use two credits. Also, Fred expressed wanting to do things with me on this trip that I had never done before, and this is one of them!

I was pretty surprised when I got the Crystal Palace reservation in September, since I've looked for before-park-opening breakfasts at Crystal Palace before, usually 180 days in advance, and never found one.

I was even more surprised when I saw a Cinderella's Royal Table reservation online a couple of weeks ago! A reservation itself seems unlikely, but one in a prime time, before the park opens to the public? I was super happy with that find! The gentleman I spoke to on the phone when making the reservation also expressed his surprise at the reservation being available.

We're on the Disney Dining Plan, so CRT will take two credits. We're not eating in a restaurant on our first Epcot day, so we had an extra credit to use toward a signature meal. I debated choosing Jiko or Narcoosee's, but Fred isn't terribly fond of "fancy" food, so I decided to see about a CRT reservation. I'm so glad I did!

I hope everyone else looking for unlikely reservations finds something they're looking for!

So, our very first day in the parks we will be going to Epcot. This will be my first trip to Disney World of drinking age, so I'd like to drink around the world! I've been looking at drink possibilities in the different countries. I'm not much of a beer person, and wine is okay, but I prefer hard liquor. These are some of the drinks I'm thinking about trying. Do you guys have any ideas?
