DAY 12 Wednesder
Got up and found Julie asleep on the couch. Figurin Gary had hoyed her out the room for coughin all night(Id threatened to do the same to V at 1am), I left her till she stirred around 7ish ad sent her back to bed. She hadnt been hoyed out- shed seen a bug and fled!
The kids were still asleep at 8:30 and me and V decided Gazs knee could do with a days rest so Winter Park was put back on the plan- we had planned Epcot and MGM.
Got everyone ready and out by10ish and just missed the 11 o clock boat trip. Took a wrong turning in the centre of Orlando, ended up on the I4, but that seemed to be the easiest route anyway so we found it soon enough just would have saved an hour without the detour.
Fed the wife and kids at a delli and got the Noon sailin. There was more to see than I was expectin and me and V enjoyed it. The kids didnt! Though, as V said the trip was full of pensioners apart from us.
Called into Belz on the way home and they were open. Gaz got himself a t shirt at his Levi Store and Julie bought a pressi for a mate at the Disney Outlet. I had me hands on a YES greatest hits CD but decided against it coz I knew the grief Id get tryin to play it in the car.
Back home to the pool and the kids splashed around for an hour or so.
Out by 5 for the main event Cirque. Plumped for the cheaper seats but still had good ones, just HH rather than EE/DD where we normally go, and a little more to the side but not that far. If anything, we enjoyed he show more from here. Bein higher up, we saw more. In fact we saw so much that we hadnt seen before we wondered if it was coz we were watchin the background more than the main performer but then things in the show were different too. Just little things , like the White Clowns were more hammy, but then me little girls had an extended spot, which confirmed it. We reckoned the changes were partly to jazz the show up-maybe for the benefit of folk that had been there ,done that, or maybe to accommodate a change of performers and different talents and ideas.
The main part of the show was exactly the same dont go thinking theyve changed it ; just enhanced it. We enjoyed it anyways. The kids stood and applauded and yer dont get much higher praise than that!
Now what to do? It was a balmy night and me and V had decided to do Reflections while we would and let the kids go into DisneyQuest if they wanted to. They chose Reflections too, so they DO have souls after all. Or maybe it was our Julie promptin that if they didnt come, they wouldnt get a Beavers Tail.
We parked at The Beach Club (or was it the Yacht Club? I never can tell), and walked through to Epcot. The place looked busy and there were folk lined all along the edge of the Lagoon. We got our Beavers Tails and made our way back to the bridge between UK and France. Id noticed, while the railins were full there wasnt much pf a crowd on the bridge itself. We got a good spot behind a family in the middle, so our Julie could see over the girls, I could see over Julie, V could stand beside me and get a fair view, and The Boy could stand where he wanted coz he can see over everyone!
We got out of Epcot easily as we were so near the Interntional Gateway and were back home in no time. Only one beer each and I had to tip Vs down the sink co we were so tired mind, I had put a little to much Vodka in the Dakari, even for me hence it goin down the sink, not me neck.
It had been me plan in 2001 and 2002 to end me hols with Cirque then Reflections on me last night and it hadnt happened for circumstances beyond me control etc. So Id fooled the holider fairy by bringin forward me last night to tonight Hah!
I love it when a plan comes together.

The Boys knee seemed better first thing and maybe stiffened up a bit towards the end of the night, so a little rest (next week!) should see him ok.
Julie sees to have got over her cold(sh) but Vs been coughin and barkin all night. Had to banish her to the bathroom at 2am but I could still hear her from there so Ive had no sleep.
Ive got a heavy cold too, but dont like to dwell on it. And me back was achin after standin so long for Reflections but yerve just got to be a brave soldier dont yer?

JULIES BIT AT THE END
I woke up coughing and noticed something on the wall. So instead of staying to investigate what it was, I run as fast as I could to the sitting room where I slept on the couch.
We got up and dressed and got to winter park at 11 am so decided to get something to eat before we got on the boat so booked the 12 am boat. We went in this café thing and mam and dad got a sandwich, gary got a burger and I got a hotdog.
We got on the boat it was so embarrassing we were the youngest people on the boat everyone else were pensioners.
We were on the boat for an hour and I was bored for very second we were on. Half way through trip the driver turned the boat round and repeated everything again.
We went to Belz and I picked up some prezzies for my friends
We went in the pool and it felt like we had only been in the pool about 20 minutes when dad told u to get ready for Cirque.
Cirque had seemed to have changed and was more entertaining.
We decided to go to see reflections and got a beavers tail.
We watched it from the International Gateway bridge.
We went back to the villa and went to bed.
