Another Basic Dining plan question

At the TS meals DS (who is 11 but rather small in size) would rather order something off the kids menu than the adult menu. However, I wouldn't want to waste and adult TS credit on a kids meal so can I do this?

Order two adult meals using TS credits, order 1 kids meal with a TS credit and then pay cash for an additional kids meal?

You can choose to pay OOP for anyone. I'm assuming from your question that there's another child involved, but yes, you could pay OOP for DS11 and likely be able to order from the kid's menu.

Just stay away from buffets if you want to do this. For buffets or meals served 'family style' he will be charged as an adult.

We do have a couple of those planned and I know it will take the TS table credit for him, that's okay as I know at charcter meals we are paying more for the character interaction. Just can't see ordering a chicken nugget meal under a kids meal choice at say Le Cellier and having to us an adult TS credit.

If we can do this that will leave 2 adult TS credits so we could eat one more TS meal and purchase two additional kids TS meals.

I am planning my vacation to Disney from September 30, 2009 till October 6, 2009.
If I'm on the free dining plan but plan on staying past Oct 3, (last day of plan) will I continue receiving the free dining plan until I leave on Oct 6, 2009?

Yes, as long as you check in by October 3rd, your dining plan should continue your entire stay

As far as Disney is concerned, whatever you are eligible for on Day 1 of your trip continues until midnight of you checkout day (max 14 night reservation).
