So.............here's the deal.

I may have someone who wants to buy my baby bug. I said I'd let it go for $50, no cartridges but a package of extra 6 x 12 cutting mats.

If this sale happens, is it OK to go spend that $50 on something fun that's not on my "allowed" list?

I'd say yes! That makes complete sense to me, purging scrap stuff should allow for gaining scrap stuff.

This is sensible planned shopping, funded by giving something up. Totally different to going mad buying, oh, patterned paper or brads just because you like them ;)

"Found" money is always* ok.

* I will put in an exception, that if your scrap space is the size of your master bedroom and you don't use anything in it, you probably should skip the shopping trip.

LOL. My scrap space is IN my bedroom but only takes up about 1/4 of the room. The room is over a one car garage, to give you an idea of room size:). I don't even know if I will spend it on scrap stuff, but if the sale happens and there's some amazing sale on something I didn't know I needed:rotfl2: , I may have to go that way:).

I look at a sale as earned money. You earned a little shopping spree. May I suggest saving some for a rain day or as I like to call a Scrap Attack.
