Another AP question

Sorry about all the questions, just trying to work out which is the best way for us to get tickets this visit. If I was to buy a dream AP can I sponsor my DH & DS there and then for a fantasy passport each?

What information do I need to take with us to get the AP's?

Lastly I need to buy a 3 day pass for a friend who is coming with us, do I get a discount off the 3 day ticket with a dream AP or just indivdual 1 day tickets? (hope I'm making sense!!)

Hi,

No, you can't sponsor with your AP straightaway, you have to have been an AP holder for one month before you can start sponsoring other AP purchases. You can't combine the 10% sponsor discount with the kids free AP offer, so you would want sponsorship for the 2 Fantasy passes you intend buying. Then you can get 10% discount on the purchase price for those 2 passes. For the Annual Passes, you will need proof of age for your under-7 - I took our passports.

You can only use your AP to buy discounted one-day park tickets from Disney I'm afraid. So you may find it cheaper to get the 3-day hopper ticket from another company, like 365tickets, attractiontix, themeparktickets etc. Shop around .

Thanks Elaine. How difficult would it be to get sponsership for the 2 fantasy AP's. I notice there is a thread for this, would I just need to post and say I'm looking for sponsership?

Yes, thats all you need to do.
The person who sponsors you will send you their details, and you present them to the CM at DLRP when you are buying the passes.

Make sure and buy the 2 lots of passes in 2 separate transactions though, as you can't combine the sponsor and free kids offers. So, for example, you go first and buy your dream pass and get the kids one free. Then your husband buys the 2 fantasy passes, with 10% discount on each one.
