Another Add On Question

I feel I should know the answer to this question, as long as I've been reading this board, but am not sure. Say I have 150 VWL points and 50 SSR points. I realize I can't combine the 150+50=200 and make a 11 month ressie; but can I combine and make a 7 month ressie? In other words can you stay in a unit combining points from two different contracts as long as you are within the right booking window or do I make separate ressies for each contract?

WolfpackFan, you are correct in thinking you cannot combine 2 separate contracts at the 11 month point but you CAN at the 7 month window!! I do this quite often when I decide to try out other DVC resorts. Just be sure to tell MS you are doing this or they may take from only 1 resort/contract and try to borrow for the next year if needed. Good Luck!!

Are the 2 contracts the same UY? If so then I believe the answer is yes.

If not, then I believe you still can except that you can't combine points from both contracts to make up one night reservation. In other words, if you have 6 points on each UY I don't think you can combine for 1 studio night. You might be able to transfer points between contracts however.
